ROOM CHANGE!

The Westford Regency called today to let us know a bigger room became available.  We will now be on the 3rd floor in the ballroom, and Renee's class will also be on the 3rd floor in the Salem Room, across from the ballroom.  We're grateful to have this bigger space!

Parking and Entrance

The elevators are located in the main lobby. You can either go through the main entrance, or through the conference center entrance and walk to the main lobby. Parking is located to the right of the tent.

Take the elevators to the 3rd floor, then follow the signs to Ink About It on the go!

Crop/Art Room - for those of you that reserved art/table space, you will be in the ballroom along with the retail store.  Hours are 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Retail Store - this will be in the ballroom.  Hours are 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Renee's "Powerful Women and Their Power Words" class will be in the Salem Room from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM

June Craft Event Information Update

Three more days until our June 29th event!    I just wanted to send a quick note with some logistics for the day. Click the link below to download a PDF version of the map and location instructions from our website: Download Directions & Map PDF Sheet  Location Westford Regency Inn & Conference Center 219 Littleton Road Westford, MA 01886    Parking and Entrance You can park on the side of the Regency near the tent.and enter through the Conference Center Entrance.  After you enter, take a right and we will have the three rooms on the right named Thoreau Room, Emerson Room and Whittier Room (see map below.)    Crop/Art Room - for those of you that reserved art/table space, you will be in the Emerson Room.  Hours are 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM.    Retail Store - Located in the Whittier Room.  Hours are 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM    Renee's "Powerful Women and Their Power Words" class will be in the Thoreau Room from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM      Make & Takes We have designed two make-and-takes for everyone.  One is a votive candle glass decorated with a sparkly sticker and the other is a Patriotic Card.  As always, one per person, while supplies last for our customers over the age of 14.  I have more than doubled the number available of each and I'm really excited to share these fun projects with you! For customers taking Renee's class and for customers that reserved table space, I am putting aside one of each for you! Food Options  There is a restaurant in the hotel called Clarke's Pub and I hear the food is very good.  There are a number of other restaurants in the area:  Burton's Grill, Chili's, Brittish Beer Works, Chipolte, Panera to name a few. New Store Items We ordered LOTS of new patterned papers from several different manufacturers, so plenty to choose from! In addition to the 12x12 sheets, we have quite a bit of the 6x6 paper sampler packs. We also have new sticker sheets and other embellishments, stamps, dies, Distress markers, Copic Markers, Goosebumps Texture sprays, StazOn ink pads, just to name a few! Doug and I along with many helpers have been going through all of the new inventory to make sure that everything will have a price sticker this time.     Looking forward to seeing you on Sunday!

This is a really great opportunity to come and learn so much from Renee.   The class cost of $38 is an exceptional value considering you get 4 hours with Renee, and she is supplying all the art materials for you including all the paints, stamps, and stencils!  You literally just have to walk in with your basic kit and sit and learn from one of the best instructors in the industry!  I am so excited for you all!

About Renee Zarate

Renee is a mixed media artist that has developed a quirky, sometimes whimsical style of art that is uniquely her own.  She has written articles and had her art displayed in publications such as Take Ten, The Stampers' Sampler, Somerset Studio, Somerset Studio Gallery, Handcrafted, Catch Up Issue/400 more cards and Just Steampunk Magazine.  Renee has served on Design Teams for Stampington, Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts and is currently on the Craft Stamper's Take It Make It Challenge Design Team and also on The Crafter's Workshop/Artistcellar DT.

Students will leave with a completed ATC accordion book with 6 ATCs to begin with; there will be space for the student to continue to create additional ATCs at their leisure.

Retail Store

You wanted more patterned paper and you are getting them! Over 250 patterned papers have been ordered and will be at the store from vendors like Kaisercraft, Prima, Echo Park, Graphic 45, Bella, Authentique, Doodlebug, Memory Box, Pebbles and more!

Even if you are not signed up for a class or reserved table space, please stop by and visit our fully stocked retail store setup on-site.  The store area will be open from 10am - 6pm.

We'll have two cash registers set up this time so that checkout will go much quicker!!

I have more than doubled the make-and-take project and will save some for those taking Renee's class in the afternoon so that you don't miss out!  I LOVE this project and hope you will too!! 

After this event I will be taking a break to spend quality time with my family and friends and of course I'll be making more samples and ordering new product lines for the fall events.  Our next big event will be in September and information on it will come out over the summer.  So, now is the time to come to the store and stock up on some great products!!

Registration is open for June 29th Craft Retreat

Our next craft event is on Sunday, June 29th at the Westford Regency.  Whether you want to come spend the whole day with us at a reserved craft table, take a class, or if you just want to stop by the new retail store on-the-go, we have something for you!

We will also be offering Creative Art Space again, and I heard you loud and clear- 6' tables for everyone!  This limits the number of people that can crop, so sign up soon to reserve your space!  Crop time will open at 9:00 AM and run to 7:00 PM and the cost is $30.00.

• Access to our AccuCut machine and all our Accucut dies

Renee Zarate's Mini ATC Book Class 

Join Renee for this fun-filled class using Dina Wakley's paints, stamps, and stencils to make a beautiful mini ATC book with 6 ATCs on the inside and 2 on the outside.  

 

Class will run from 1:00 to 5:00 PM and the cost is $38.00

Thank you for your support!

I wanted to say thank you to everyone that came to our May 31st event and supported us!  The day flew by, I feel like it was a wedding and that in a blink of an eye, we were packing it all back up.

My motto has always been that the only way I can truly fail is by not learning anything from each experience. So, with that motto in mind, I think the first event was a HUGE success because I learned so so much!  Thanks to everyone for trusting me enough to be so honest with me.   I was listening!   

I appreciate you all having patience with me as I continue to learn each and every time to make this a better and better experience for us all.

It was a thrill for me to see so many of you and to have taught my first class! I really loved that each person's By the Sea Treasure Box came out just a little bit different from everyone else's.  Such inspiration from you all!
