To sew, or not to sew...

This new find was a happy accident for us. While on the lookout for something else, I walked right into this beautiful booth and met the delightful owners of Paper Quilt Creations from Australia. Michaela designs patterns to make the lovely mini quilts in this photo. They are made from paper scraps and each was worthy of framing. Some she stitched with her machine, and others were embellished with faux stitching or stickers such as peel-offs. I can't wait for you to see these samples in person. They truly are gorgeous.

My Favorite Things

Time for another non-craft post... Sorry. Did you think I was posting about MFT stamps? I like those, too, but these cool flowers are one of my favorite sights at winter CHA. I love how they look like birds. Does anyone know the actual name of these flowers?

Too clever! Notice the packaging on this twine - actually, its high quality hemp that does not fray and will hold a bow when tied. I love it. ok, back to my original point - each color is on its own roller so you just pull off as much as you need for your project. Just hang it in your craft space as is. The packaging doubles as an organizer/storage solution. Awesome!

So, after that last post I thought I should say it's not ALL fun and games here. We really are working. And by "we" I mean Linda! :-) Here she is checking out all the new products from Echo Park. You are going to love their new lines. We really like the This & That lines and their Dots & Stripes paper pads. I will try to get close up pics at their booth to share later.
