Join us as we celebrate the talents of eleven local artists with a free showing of their unique art pieces -two days only- at Ink About It. These altered artists have been gathering monthly for the past several years to create, support and inspire one another.
Last year’s show was so amazing and this year promises to be the same!
Stop in to see their work this Friday and Saturday during our regular store hours. You will be amazed and inspired.
I know it’s a little surprising to see the Christmas and other Holiday decorations up in the Malls already but as we crafters know, it is never too early to start those Holiday cards!
So with that in mind, Ink About It has begun to fill our shelves with all kinds of wonderful Christmas and Holiday papers, stamps and other products for your crafting needs.
Come check out this new line from Cosmo Cricket. It has a fun retro feel to it. The papers are versatile with snowy themes and great colors!

We are thrilled to have Dave Brethauer of Memory Box Company joining us this week from Seattle to teach a few class
es and to be our special guest for the Customer Appreciation event this Friday evening. This is an "invite-only" event and if you qualified (based on number of redeemed frequent shopper cards) you would have received your invitation in the mail last week. Please be sure to RSVP for the event so we may plan accordingly.
Dave is the special guest teacher at Lori's monthly Christmas Card 
Challenge class this Thursday, Oct 22nd and he is offering two sessions - one from 10-noon and another from 6:30-8:30pm. He's also teaching another session on Saturday from 1-3pm. This class includes a free stamp as usual, and it's a brand new image from Dave's latest collection - Brighter Days - debuting this week.
His second class is a Memory Box Holiday card class on Friday, Oct 23rd from 10-noon and again Sat, Oct 24th from 10-noon. This class includes five different holiday cards - all featuring brand new images from Dave's latest release - Brighter Days. These cards are gorgeous. We’re back with an update on all the fabulous products pouring into the store. Fall is such a great time at Ink About It because we’re getting not only Fall products but also Halloween, Christmas and other Winter Holiday products. There is also a big selection of general merchandise…things to inspire your creativity without a seasonal theme.

We are excited to announce the upcoming workshops with Angela Moen of The Button Farm!
On Saturday September 26th we'll be hosting Angela as she teaches two amazing projects.
In the morning, from 10:00 to 1:00 she'll be teaching the "Spooky Nights Tin"
This little tin and coordinating album is so cute. Or should I say spooky? Either way, you're gonna love it.
This ‘album in a tin’ is a spooky spot for the memories of Halloween Past. This project will feature Angela's favorite Halloween supplies on the market from Pink Paislee. We will spook up our tin and album with papers, stickers, fabric tags, glitter sticker letters and ribbons.
I love love love this book. It is gorgeous.
This little ‘red’ book
will make a perfect journal or will perfectly highlight almost any
photos or story. We will begin with 7 Gypsies antique red book covers
and create a book using chipboard pages, envelopes, transparencies and
pockets.

Wow, what a whirlwind weekend we had with Tim Holtz!
It went by too fast but we sure got a lot of creating done. And I’m sure everyone who attended any of his classes would agree that he is an inspirational teacher and artist!

Mary gives me a hard time for always posting bad pictures of her. So, in good faith, I am posting a picture of myself…enjoying my Tim Holtz class.
Working hard! There was a kit explosion in one of the shipping boxes so Tim and Mario were working frantically to get the kits put back together before the Patchwork Pandemonium class started. And those kits were full of lots of tiny pieces…these guys worked hard all weekend.
Thanks Tim and Mario! It was fab!

We have literally been inundated with boxes over here at Ink About It!
It has been so much fun!
New products are simply pouring into the store…Halloween is on its way and believe it or not the Christmas products are beginning to arrive as well. You might not be ready for the cold weather but these papers can sure get me feeling in the spirit!
And in preparation for Tim Holtz visit (he’s here RIGHT NOW!) the store is jam packed with all of his fabulous products.
So let’s get to it, shall we?
Rock Candy crackle paint and stickles are seriously STOCKED UP!
We have two new lines from Graphic 45 – A New Christmas Line and “Domestic Goddess” Line. Both are totally fabulous.
They each have tag sheets that you just have to see.
The lines are double sided so the photos you see here are only half of the fabulosity of this paper! (Ok, I know that isn’t a word…but doesn’t it just fit?)
Next from Melissa Frances we have all kinds of great things for the altered artists and general crafty folks out there! Faux snow, Tinsel (even the spools this tinsel comes on are super cool), bottle brush trees in several colors, mini books, cool bingo cards…well you get the idea we’ve got all kinds of funky cool products! Come check them out!

The new A*muse Halloween release is at Ink About It and boy, is it cute. A*muse never disappoints. Here is just a tiny peek at the many stamps we have. There are even Bella and Edward stamps for you Twilight fans! Awesome.
As I mentioned before we have tons of great Tim Holtz products in stock for his visit this weekend. You have to come in to check them all out! There will be sure to be lots of inspiration to be seen this weekend as well if you stop in as Tim will be teaching classes Friday and Saturday. The folks in his classes will be creating up a storm!
And last, but not least, we have a huge selection of metals, molds, tools, and the DVD for TEN SECOND STUDIO. The Book, Metal Effects, is being discontinued and we have several autographed copies in the store so get one now while they are available!

Have you heard about it yet? It is so cool!
For those of you who are signed up for one of his classes, you are sure to get some hands-on instruction on this great product.But don't despair if you are not in the classes!Tim has even made a great instructional video showing exactly how to use this cool new stuff.
